Yes, its true! We are giving away more software licenses. Many of you appreciated our last weeks contest where we gave away copies of Blu-Ray to PS3 Converter but many don’t have a PS3 to utilize it.

What Does Blu-Ray to DVD Video Do?

You can learn all about Blu-Ray to DVD Video on the vendor page if you want the official specs.

But to give you a quick overview, this software basically converts Blu-Ray movie content to fit onto a DVD disc. A great solution for protecting your Blu Ray investment. Why would you want to put Blu Ray on DVD you ask? First of all blank Blu Ray discs (BD-R or BD-RW) are still over $5 a piece in most places and in some areas over $10 each. So making a backup of a Blu Ray disc to a BD disc may not be worth the cost. However blank DVD discs are under $1 each and you can sometimes find them for much less, so it makes sense to use this medium for making backups.
