Most Impressive Blu-Ray Media Players to Come Out of CES 2012

One of the more impressive technologies to evolve in the tech industry is the Blu-ray player. A slew of new Blu-ray products have managed to capture the eyes of people in the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. The annual event took place in Las Vegas where technologists from all over the globe displayed their latest innovations.  Here are a few highlights that we saw in the Blu-Ray Media Player department.

Panasonic

The BD player from Panasonic displayed the latest inventions meant for the 3D market as well as two for 2D. The machines included featured the functionality called the Viera Connect as well as a much-improved UniPhier processor. Some of the models on show included the DMP-BBT01. This offers 3D as well as up scaling 2D to 3D. Also, it comes with Wi-Fi capability and a slot loading type of mechanism. You are able to stand it in four varied ways when arranging your home theater.

Sony

Sony was also present with a new version of the much hyped Blu-ray media player powered by Google TV. This is the model NSZ-GP9. This innovation surprised many because it allows voice searching, a remote that is entirely touch enabled and a keyboard with a reverse side that is lit. With this, the user will enjoy navigational features that come with Blu-ray discs. This is expected to be one of the year’s best hits.

Samsung

You will be able to install the latest apps from Samsung on their latest BD-ES60000. The features are smart since you are able to navigate through the features using the USB keyboard, Wi-Fi remote control or even a mouse. You will be able to access Internet connection as well as stream to other compatible devices in the home. The size of this Blu-ray disc player is something of a wonder as well. This is because it comes only slightly bigger than the disc.

LG

In the entertainment industry, it is hard to mention something techy and miss seeing LG. They recently announced that they plan to release four Blu-ray entertainment theater systems in 2012. For instance, the BH720S comes with rear speakers that are wireless. They assure that you will receive 3D sound, and models such as the BH9429PW and BH9220BW will have top-firing drivers. Also, the speaker range comes with Bluetooth capability. With this, you will be able to stream from Android and iOS powered devices.

Sharp

Sharp also came in with two Blu-ray media players meant for 2012. They are expected to be on the shelves later in the year. These are the BD-AMS20U and BD-AMS10U. Both of these come with a feature to use SmartCentral interface. This is meant to provide a chance for improving image resolutions as well as settings for the picture. There is also the inclusion of DLNA and an optimization of the color palette. Thee USB interface provided in the BD-AMS10U can be used for storage as well as to easily integrate other devices. You could use your digital cameras as well as camcorders on the Blu-ray players.

With such innovations, you no longer have to worry about having the best pictures for your home entertainment. The world of HD and 3D TV keeps moving forward with new technology for Blu-ray media players.

Honestly, until a Blu Ray player can operate as easily as a DVD player, I don’t think there is such a thing as an impressive BD player. And they all get such bad user reviews too with lousy warranties and customer service.
