“Consumers now demand video to be accessible on a variety of devices.
That’s why we’ve added support for Apple’s iPad mobile digital device, so users
can enjoy their video on this wonderful new product. When Windows 7 users record high definition or standard TV shows via Windows
Media Center, the resulting file is in the .wtv format. With MovieStyle, users
can convert it to different video formats for use on an iPad, video game
console or other portable device” remarked Tak Ebine, Pegasys Inc. CEO.
New iPad support lets
users take personal video anywhere they go. Video converted for the iPad can be
up to 1024 x 768 resolution for 4:3 clips, or up to 1280 x720 for 16:9 clips.
Just drag and drop the video content for easy conversion and playback. Similar
to an iPod, iPad video can be quickly transferred to an iTunes library using
the included TransManagerTM. Then, simply connect the iPad to a PC
and iTunes will automatically transfer the videos to the iPad.
TMPGEnc MovieStyle
converts video clips to portable and high definition formats compatible with
popular digital devices, including: iPad™, iPod®/iPhone®, Apple® TV, Sony®
mylo™ COM-2, PSP™, Playstation® 3, Zune™, Xbox 360™, Nintendo DS™ with
PLAY-YAN, Nintendo® Wii™, PDA’s with Windows Media Player, and DivX®. Accepted
input formats include AVI, MPEG, MPEG4, Windows Media Video (wmv), QuickTime,
H.264, DivX®, DVD-Video/DVD-VR, Media Center PC (WTV, DVR-MS), and MOD (a file
format used by JVC Everio HDD camcorders).
HDV camcorder files are also supported.
The MovieStyle
interface is easy to use. Simply select a device, then drag and drop video
clips to begin converting. The converting templates eliminate guesswork and
save time. It will also import a DVD (copy-protected DVD's cannot be imported),
or DVD-VR and WTV/DVR-MS (Windows Media Center) recordings.
The .wtv file format
replaces the. dvr-ms file format and both .wtv and .dvr-ms files can be
imported. Windows Media Center is included in most Windows 7 editions, Windows
Vista (Home Premium, Ultimate) and Windows XP (Media Center Edition). All that
is needed is a TV Tuner device to watch and record live TV broadcasts.
The Quick Encode
feature converts video clips without opening MovieStyle. Simply right-click the
video clip and select the digital device from the drop-down menu. The Drop
Folder feature lets users specify a folder for MovieStyle to monitor. When a
video clip is saved in the folder, the software will automatically convert it
for the user-specified device.
Cinema Mode converts
video to 24 frames per second for PSP users. Karaoke Mode, cancels out vocals
from the audio track, and uses the Pitch Changer settings to alter the audio
pitch. The Audio Only option (not available for all devices) can convert video
into an audio file. Time Stretch can convert video to play either 50% slower or
faster with understandable audio.
