JVC has introduced a new 3-in-one digital video recorder which utililizes 3 ways to record video. By MiniDV, a 250GB Hard Drive, or on standard DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD-RAM discs. It offers a built in editing suite which allows you to author DVD's without the use of a computer or additional software.
With it's easy to connect setup there is no complicated wiring necessary. You can also use it as a stand alone editing-dubbing production system. It sports a BNC video output connector and DVCAM playback and a RS-232C interface for those custom setups.
The SR-DVM700 promises to be the ultimate DVR system for beginners or videophiles. With up to 18 hours of HDD recording in the native DV format you can record your favorite series of shows and have room left over for next season.
