Computer errors, crashes and downtime cost computer users in the
U.S. billions of dollars every year. While this is great news for
computer maintenance companies, it is a financial nightmare for
everyone else. The good news is that computer users can easily prevent
these losses with a little responsibility for their computer’s
protection and performance.
The main reasons why a computer may develop errors include
malfunctioning of the system or the hardware, corruption of software
and viruses or other malware infections. Some of these errors are
beyond our control or are impossible to prevent but many of them can be
eliminated if the users take some time out to educate themselves, use
the protection tools available to them and follow safe computing
practices.
One such category of error which can be prevented as well as
eliminated by a common computer owner to a large extent is the EXE
error. These errors are quite rampant in the computer world and are
responsible for huge losses in productivity and performance. These
errors can cause a loss in PC performance by not allowing an
application to run or install, or by slowing down a program or causing
windows to shutdown.
Several computers errors are a result of external assaults from various Trojans, viruses, adware and spyware, such as antvrs.exe.
These malware programs infect a system, corrupt important files and
make changes to critical information in the registry. In order to fix hidserve.exe
and other errors, the first line of protection is using efficient
anti-virus and anti-spyware tools. These tools need to be carefully
selected and installed on the system. You must also periodically update
these tools to counter the latest threats and finally perform thorough
searches at regular intervals for any sources of errors in your system.
The second line of defense in eliminating computer errors is to
follow defensive computing techniques. This means that a computer owner
should be skeptical of any unknown source like a website, email or a CD
as these have a potential of transmitting unknown files to your
computer and then pose problems. You must never download a program
until you absolutely require it and ensure the credibility of the
source before downloading. More applications in your PC means more
chances of program files interfering with each other and causing
errors. To prevent this, uninstall unwanted applications, and always
use a good internet connection which will ensure smooth downloads
without any broken or corrupt files. To prevent and fix ccsvchst.exe and other high CPU usage problems you must take care to update your software regularly.
Finally, we recommended that you use an efficient registry cleaning
software to resolve computer errors quickly by repairing any problems
within the Windows registry. This will help you ensure that errors are
completely removed from the system and ensures you of a high
performance computer.
