  Description

One of the latest releases from BenQ labs is the BenQ DW1625, a 16x/8x DVD Burner. It is similar to the 1620 model but does not support 16x/16x as the 1620 does. The main feature of this drive is the LightScribe technology. The DW1625 can burn up to 16x and 4x speeds with DVD+R and +RW media, and up to 8x and 4x speeds with DVD-R and -RW media. It can also produce a full DL disc in almost 24mins at 2.4x burning speed.

BenQ's exclusive Write Right Technology utilizies two powerful features: Tile Control and WOPC II (Walking Optimal Power Control II). By using these features, the DW1625 is able to maintain perfect control over both the laser beam angle and the power rate being projected onto the disc, ensuring every bit of your data is written at the best possible quality.

BenQ DW1625

WOPC + BLER OPC: Unlike other drives which preset the writing power before the actual writing of data, the WOPC II (Walking Optimal Power Control) algorithm evaluates the writing quality constantly and adjusts the writing power accordingly, in order to ensure the best possible writing quality over the entire disc. The BLER OPC (Block Error Rate Optimal Power Control) furthur enhances the writing quality near the end of the disc, where the risk of wraping is higher.

  • DW1625 with LightScribe Technology : BenQ has launched its DW1625 DVD ReWriter with LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling Technology, to dress them up. LightScribe Technology will enable you to easily create customized, slikscreen-quality labels directly on CDs and DVDs using their own PCs through a combination of LightScribe-compitable media, recordable optical drives and special software.
  • Dual Layer Technology : By utilizing Double Layer technology along with DVD+R DL media you can take advantage of an increased storage capacity of 8.5GB of data per disc, or up to 4 hours of DVD quality video.
  • Write Right Technology : BenQ’s exclusive Write Right Technology utilizes two powerful features: Tilt Control and WOPC II (Walking Optimal Power Control II). By using these features the DW1625 is able to maintain perfect control over both the laser beam angel and the power rate being projected onto the disc, ensuring every bit of your data is written at the best possibly quality.
  • BenQ Q-video 2.0 : Creating you own DVD disc from a TV, DV, or AV source is now easier than ever! with Qvideo 2.0, making your own DVD is simple, and it's in real time. Compact Drive Design Compact-size DW1625 is ideal for mini-PC. Increased your space flexibility
