• The ability to copy to your Hard Disk. - This is for users that want to be able to copy a DVD and store in on a central server for Apple TV playback or to simply have a digital copy available for viewing on the go.
• Software Updates. The better software companies always have a software update schedule to keep their software up to date to be able to copy the latest movies. If regular updates are not performed then newer movies may not be able to be copied properly.
