Berlin / Dallas - dicas, a leading developer of ISO MPEG-4 real-time video coding solutions, and ViewCast (VCST.OB), the streaming media industry's de facto standard (“Osprey Video”) capture card manufacturer, have announced their strategic MPEG-4 relationship today.

dicas has tested and qualified a range of Osprey Video products, in particular the Osprey-210 and Osprey-540, with their recently released versions of mpegable X4 live and mpegable S4.

mpegable X4 live, aimed at newcomers as well as more experienced users, and mpegable S4, which delivers ISO MPEG-4 files ready for streaming in accordance with the ISMA specification, are the most advanced video coding applications available in the market today covering both the consumer and professional segments respectively.
