For starters it looks like Aimersoft has bundled 5 of their most popular applications under one roof. What's included in this package is very impressive for a small company. DVD Studio Pack will offer you 5 cool ways to make super amazing DVD's and to manipulate other DVD content. The 5 apps bundled are:
- Aimersoft's DVD Ripper
- Aimersoft's VIdeo Converter
- Aimersoft's DVD Creator
- Aimersoft's Audio Converter
- Aimersoft's DVD Copy
What each tool does on it's own is impressive, but together you now have a full range of tools to make you a burning master. I will go over each product and list the benefits of each.
- DVD Ripper: This app allows you to take any DVD Movie and rip it to your hard drive so you can either watch it with a DVD Player app or to store as a backup. You can also take this video and convert it to other formats using their Video Converter which I will go over next.
- Video Converter: This app does what it says, it will convert any video to another format. The formats supported are MP4, AVI, MPG, MPEG, VOB, WMV, XviD, MOV, DAT, VOB, IFO, 3GP, 3GPP, ASF, FLV, WMA, M4A, MP3, WMA, AC3, WAV, YouTube, Google video, etc. After you input your videos you can convert them to the following gadgets: iPod, Zune, iPad, iPhone, PSP, Xbox 360, PS3, Archos, iRiver, Creative Zen
- DVD Creator: This app will create DVD movies from your videos. Take any of the above listed video formats, load it into the software, create your DVD menu, and click the burn button. After the conversion and burning process you will have a shiny new DVD that you can give to your family or friends and they will be able to play it back on their DVD players.
- Audio Converter: Just like the video converter, the audio converter does what it says. It will take any audio source and convert it to another format if you need it. It will also take DRM music files and remove the protection so you can play the music on any player you want. Good bye iTunes DRM.
- DVD Copy: Probably the most used app of all will be the dvd copy function. Yes, backup your entire DVD library and make a second copy of your discs. Great tool if you tend to scratch and damange your discs.
