Most DVD Copying aps on the market today are fly by night operations trying to make a quick buck on a growing trend. It is very easy for someone to hire some offshore developers to 'whip up' an application or an E-Book of instructions that can backup DVD's. Most of the time this is a one time job, so there are never any updates, patches, of fixes for the software. Also support from these companies are virtually non-existant since it's usually 1 or 2 people putting it together to sell online.

What we at BurnWorld.com are trying to do, is to provide you the 'facts' about the current availiable 'so called' DVD Copying aps, and to provide you a Good and Bad List of Titles so you can make the best informed decision. Note: Bad List Titles are mainly a glorified Ebooks with instructions while the Good List contains titles that are actually Software.

user feedback from our visitors
personal experiences with the apps
responses from company following email or phone call to thier Sales or Suppt. dept
Is the Vendors website misleading?
Is the software offered Illegal in many contries including the US, UK, Australia, etc.? If so they will not be around very long!

We have even found a few other 'DVD Copy Software Review Scam Sites' online which seem to be total scams themselves. They are actually listing what we consider a 'scam' product as their recommended ones. I would suspect that these sites are run by the 'scammy' product owners. Buyer Beware!
